Zoleka Mandela, a prominent activist and author and granddaughter of Nelson Mandela, has announced that she is in the planning stages for her death after learning that her cancer might be incurable.
Zoleka Mandela, who has previously beaten breast cancer twice, revealed on social media last August that her cancer had returned and been diagnosed with bone cancer.
Following the diagnosis, she said that one of the scans had revealed cancer in her liver and lungs, and that she was living on borrowed time.
The activist recently conducted a poll on Twitter on what to do with her frozen eggs, as she can no longer have a child naturally or via surrogacy due to her illness.
Users voted for her to anonymously donate them. Mandela expressed her gratitude for the support and love she has been receiving ever since she announced the recent developments in her health.
“I would like to express my gratitude for the support and love I have been showered with since announcing the recent development in my health. I am currently finding the best way to manage my illness and business. I would like to thank each person behind all the brands and campaigns that have shown interest in working together,” she wrote.
