Syko Bob, a Florida rapper affiliated with Kodak Black, has been sentenced to five years in prison for gun possession.
The 28-year-old was initially arrested in April for driving under the influence, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
According to reports, Syko Bob and two associates were attacked in a drive-by shooting in broad daylight in Lauderhill, Florida, by shooters in a black BMW.
The rapper fired back, causing the BMW to crash into a van, after which both parties fled the scene.
The incident left Syko Bob and his team with minor injuries. Later on, it was revealed that Syko Bob was in possession of a firearm, which violated his probation. Hence, he was given a sentence of five years in prison.
His legal team has not yet commented on the sentencing.
