Nigerians urged to stop sending faulty equipment abroad

Published

on

Nigerian entrepreneur and founder of Zeetin Engineering Limited, Azibaola Robert, has urged the government to encourage local production and discourage the practice of sending faulty machines and equipment abroad for repairs. He believes that Nigerians have the capability to handle these repairs and that it will help improve their practical knowledge in engineering and contribute to the technological advancement and infrastructural development of Nigeria.

Azibaola Robert also spoke with Legit.ng about how road accidents can be curbed across the country. He believes that Nigeria should develop its own homegrown technology to build long-lasting roads and resist acidic rains and underground water. He also believes that as long as Nigeria continues to build bitumen-surfaced roads, they will continue to erode and vehicles will continue to get stuck.

These comments from Azibaola Robert are sure to spark a discussion about how to improve the engineering knowledge of Nigerians and how to create long-lasting roads in Nigeria. It is clear that he believes that investing in local production and engineering knowledge is the key to a more prosperous and technologically advanced Nigeria.
