Missing Woman Reunites With Mother In Enugu

On Tuesday, Comfort, a missing woman who had given three different names and her age as 20 years during police profiling, was reunited with her mother in Enugu State. According to police spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe, Comfort’s widowed mother revealed her daughter’s real name to be Comfort and that she was 23 years old. She had been at a prayer house in Inyi community in Oji River Local Government Area of the state since December 31, 2022, due to her mental imbalance.

The reunion was made possible by a Good Samaritan who found Comfort wandering at Obe community in Nkanu West Local Government Area and took her to the police station at Ozalla Division on Jan. 20. Furthermore, pressmen and public-spirited individuals who used their various media platforms to widely circulate news about her also contributed to her finding.

The Enugu Police Command expressed their appreciation to all those involved in making the reunion of Comfort with her mother possible.
