“Can’t Say What My Female Colleagues Do Differently”: Kunle Remi Analyses Why Actresses Do Better Than Actors

Fast-rising Nigerian actor Kunle Remi recently appeared as a guest on Nedu Wazobia’s podcast, where he shared his thoughts on why his female colleagues appear to be more successful than the males in the Nigerian movie industry.

During the podcast, Kunle expressed his confusion as to why this is the case, and suggested that some of these actresses have other side hustles that bring in extra income, though he believes that often these actresses put up a facade in this regard.

Kunle went on to say that many of these actresses appear to have more wealth than what their incomes from the film industry could provide.

He also noted that this gives the public a false impression of how lucrative the Nigerian movie industry is.
