Frank Lampard sacked as Everton Manager after poor performances

Frank Lampard has been relieved of his duties as manager of Everton Football Club after a string of poor performances.

The Toffees currently sit 19th in the Premier League table and have lost eight of their last nine matches in all competitions.

Saturday’s 2-0 loss to West Ham sealed Lampard’s fate, with the team now two points adrift of safety with only 15 points from 20 league games this season.

Following the defeat, Lampard held talks with owner Farhad Moshiri, chairman Bill Kenwright, and director of football Kevin Thelwell and had accepted that changes were needed.
