ATSSSAN Calls Off Strike Action After Negotiation Agreement Reached

Workers of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc have called off their strike action, which was initiated on Monday, January 23, 2023.
This was confirmed by the Deputy General Secretary of the National Union of Air Transport Employees and Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Frances Akinjole, in a phone conversation with Punch on Monday afternoon.
According to Akinjole, the action has been suspended, and negotiations regarding salary issues have been agreed to commence.

Prior to the suspension, international flights at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos were grounded due to the strike.
