“Is so costly”: Mum reacts after Daughter showed Her N4k Yam she bought in UK (VIDEO)

- A UK-based Nigerian woman recently shared a funny video of her mother’s reaction upon seeing a tuber of yam bought for N4k.
- The woman was taken aback by the cost of the yam, comparing it to her seedling back in the village.
- Social media users have responded to the video, comparing the price of yam in Nigeria to other countries.
The Nigerian mum in the UK was astonished when her daughter revealed that the yam cost £6.99 (N4k). Lowering the conversion to naira, the woman was shocked that such a small tuber of yam cost so much.
She then compared it to her seedling which she reserved for planting in the village next year, which she believed was bigger.
When the lady showed her pumpkin leaves (ugwu leaves) bought for £2 (N1127), the woman was even more shocked.
Social media users reacted to the funny video with Euphemia Olivia saying, “And I bought 3 for 2k yesterday for this size here in Nigeria.”
Banke Christelle said, “Mama is killing me,”
Queen said, “When I see that brings their mother to the I feel so happy.. omo me tap from this grace.”
