Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, the representative of Enugu West Senatorial District, has expressed his disapproval of his suspension by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On Friday, the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) issued a suspension for Nnamani and eight other members for their alleged anti-party activities.
In a statement released Saturday morning, Nnamani was astonished by the news, claiming that he was not notified of any complaints or petitions against him. He also said that he was not invited to any meeting or hearing of the NWC, and that his right to a fair hearing was violated.
