“Nothing is working”: Kemi Afolabi shares video after visiting Ikoyi post office facility in Lagos

Kemi Afolabi was taken aback when she visited the Ikoyi post office facility in Lagos. In a video shared by the actress, she expressed her shock at the dilapidated building, and the outdated and dead devices left for the staff to work with. She also included the exterior of the post office in her video, questioning the manager and other staff put to work in the space.

Nigerians reacted to Afolabi’s video, with one person commenting that it seemed the staff were campaigning for their bosses. Another noted the difference in the state of the post office compared to other areas like Shomolu and Mushin.

Afolabi showed the dead phones, dirty interior and exterior, broken/falling ceiling and washed off paint of the post office in a prestigious neighborhood. She asked the staff how they cope with working in the environment, and the manager assured her their boss was on top of the matter.

She noted that if she gets hold of a man, she would make sure she gets married to him so he can start sorting her bills.
