Raw Nigeria reports that a new numbers of people kidnapped in Edo state train attack have been revealed by Edo State Commissioner for Communication, Mr. Chris Nehikhare while giving update on the incident.
Mr. Chris Nehikhare who spoke with Journalists in Benin on Wednesday said that intelligence report indicates that 20 persons were kidnapped at Igueben train station in Edo state and not 32 persons many news channels has earlier reported.
Mr. Chris Nehikhare told news men that seven (7) kidnapped persons have been rescued after they were kidnapped on the 7th of January 2023 while waiting for 4 p.m. train from Igueben station to Warri.

He also advice news medias to only work with informations from government instead of other sources for the safety of the family of the victims. “Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo had assured the families of the abducted train passengers of safety and rescue soon.” He said.
